NHS Institute for Innovation and Improvement

NHS Institute for Innovation and Improvement

An NHS body which replaced the NHS University. The NHS III aims to be central to delivering quality and value to improve patient care and efficiency; it works with local staff to generate practical solutions to policy change. Additionally, the NHS III is the NHS self-improvement agency: it pioneers effective innovation, continually learning and translating ideas from other sectors, and it has initiated dialogue with NHS organisations across England about the Quality, Innovation, Productivity and Prevention agenda and major efficiency challenges. Its mission is to accelerate the uptake of proven innovation and improvements in healthcare delivery models and processes, medical products and devices and healthcare leadership.
