[TA] one of two ligaments that extend from the posterior part of the lateral meniscus to the lateral surface of the medial meniscus: anterior meniscofemoral ligament and posterior meniscofemoral ligament.

meniscofemoral ligaments

Two small ligaments of the knee, one anterior and one posterior. The anterior one attaches to the posterior area of the lateral meniscus and the anterior cruciate ligament. The posterior one attaches to the posterior area of the lateral meniscus and the medial condyle of the femur. See also: ligament
