Hemlock needles are flat, but bright green on top and silvery underneath. Hemlocks have cones, not berries. Branches are used to make tea for colds, cough, kidney problems ad as a source of vitamin C. Inner bark used for tea for stomach problems, diarrhea, colds, flu, lung and coughs. Expectorant, astringent, helps stop bleeding. |
