licence holder

licence holder

A named person under the Human Tissue Act 2004 (UK) who is a suitable person, by which the Act means a party (either an individual—e.g., Chief Executive—or a corporate body—e.g., an NHS Trust) involved in some managerial capacity in the establishment concerned (premises where the licensed activity is to take place), rather than someone who is entirely remote from it. The licence holder is often also the so-called designated individual under the HTA 2004.
