Nauchnyi

an urban-type settlement in the Crimean Oblast, Ukrainian SSR, 28 km from the Bakhchisarai railroad station on the Simferopol’-Sevastopol’ line. An astrophysical observatory of the Academy of Sciences of the USSR is located in Nauchnyi.
