Krasilov

a city (since 1964), center of Krasilov Raion, Khmel’nitskii Oblast, Ukrainian SSR. Located 3 km from the Krasilov railroad station on the Khmel’nitskii-Shepetovka line, 36 km north of Khmel’nitskii. Population, 13,500 (1971). Noted for a machine-building plant, sugar refinery, and brickyard. Founded in the first half of the 17th century.
