Naphthysine

(also sanorin), a vasoconstrictor. Naphthysine nose drops are prescribed for the treatment of rhinitis, hay fever, and other allergic infections of the nasal cavity, as well as for inflammations of the maxillary sinus and for nosebleeds. Naphthysine is contraindicated for chronic rhinitis and should not be administered to young children.
