A Trojan on the Internet that snuck in under the guise of a game called "Whack-A-Mole." It set up software in your computer that acted as a server to the cracker at a remote client. It informed the client when you were online and enabled the charming fellow (it is almost always a male) to take control of your computer and do pretty much anything he wanted. See Trojan.
