a river in Irkutsk Oblast and Krasnoiarsk Krai, RSFSR. The Kova, a left tributary of the Angara River, measures 452 km long and drains an area of 11,700 sq km. There are rapids that are difficult to traverse in the middle course and near the mouth. The Kova is fed by snow and rain. The mean flow rate at a point 66 km from the river’s mouth is approximately 45 cu m/sec.
