Melovoe

an urban-type settlement; administrative center of the Melovoe Raion, Voroshilovgrad Oblast, Ukrainian SSR. Melovoe has a railroad station at Chertkovo on the MillerovoRossosh’ line. The settlement has a vegetable-oil mill, a veteri-nary technicum, and a museum of local history and lore.
