Kosva Kamen

mountains in the Northern Urals, Sverdlovsk Oblast, RSFSR. Altitude, 1,519 m. The mountains are composed of pyroxenites and dunites of the early and middle Paleozoic era. Up to altitudes of 900–1,000 m the slopes are covered with conifer forests (mainly larch and pine) mixed with birch. Mountain tundra and rocky streams are found at higher altitudes.
