Melkosopochnik

 

a type of relief consisting of hills and groups of hills of various shape composed of bedrock (with relative elevations of 50-100 m); the hills are randomly scattered and divided by more or less broad, flat depressions (sometimes filled by lakes) or valleys. The Kazakh Melkosopochnik in the Kazakh SSR is a typical example of this kind of relief.
