Korzhenevskii Glacier

 

a glacier in the Zaalai Range, on its northern slope. Situated east of Lenin Peak, at the source of the Dzhanaidartak River (a tributary of the Kyzylsu) in the Kirghiz SSR. A complex valley glacier. Length, 19.5 km; area, 89.1 sq km. Its lower end is at an altitude of 3,800 m. It was named in honor of the geographer N. L. Korzhenevskii, who discovered it in 1928.
