Korvalol
a sedative and vasodilator; a compound preparation containing ethyl ether, α-bromisovaleric acid, sodium phenobarbital, peppermint oil, ethyl alcohol, and water. Korvalol is closely related in composition and action to Valokordin. It is taken internally as drops for cardiovascular neurosis, tachycardia, insomnia, overirritability, hypertension, and spasms of the intestinal tract.
