Levocské Hory

mountains in the Western Carpathians, in eastern Czechoslovakia, between the Poprad and Gornad valleys. Elevation, up to 1,290 m (Mount čierna). They are composed of sandstones, conglomerates, and flysch. On the lower parts of the slopes there are broad-leaved (beech and oak) and mixed forests; at the peaks, spruce groves and mountain meadows.
