[‚män·ə·kə′lȯid·ē·ə] (invertebrate zoology) A superfamily of nonparasitic nematodes in the order Mononchida, distinguished by papilliform cephalic sense organs, an inconspicuous, small, slitlike amphid aperture, and a stoma with a thick-walled, slightly tapered anterior and an elongate, thin-walled posterior.
