[‚nōd·ə‚del·fē′ȯid·ə] (invertebrate zoology) A small group of crustaceans bearing a superficial resemblance to many insect larvae as a result of uniform segmentation, comparatively small trunk appendages, and crowding of inconspicuous oral appendages into the anterior portion of the head.
