Megri Gorge

a gorge on the Araks River above the settlement of Megri in the Armenian SSR. The left side of the gorge is formed by the southern extremity of the Zangezur Range. Depths range to 600-700 m. The landscape is semidesert with xerophilous shrubs and subshrubs.
