Komodo
Komodo an island in the Lesser Sundas, between the islands of Flores and Sumbawa. Area, 494 sq km. Komodo belongs to Indonesia. Hills and low mountains (elevations to 735 m) predominate, covered by grass and shrub. The Komodo dragon is one of the most well known of the the island’s animals. There is fishing and copra production. |
