Levaia Khetta
a river in the Yamal-Nenets National Okrug, Tiumen’ Oblast, RSFSR, a left tributary of the Nadym River. Length, 357 km; basin area, 11,300 sq km. The river rises from a small lake on the northern edge of the Siberian Uvals; it flows north-northeast through a swampy plain. The river is fed by a number of sources, principally by snow. High water occurs between May and July.
