Kommunizm Alashara

(Light of Communism), an Abaza-language oblast newspaper in the Karachai-Cherkess Autonomous Oblast. It has been published in Cherkessk three times weekly since 1933; it first came out as a page in the newspaper Cherkes Plyzh (Red Circassia); it became Cherkes Kapshch in 1938, Sotsialisticheska Cherkesia (Socialist Circassia) in 1953, and Kommunizm Alashara in 1958.
