Old Mulkey Meetinghouse State Historic Site
Location:On KY 1446 in Tompkinsville, about 25 miles south of the Edmonton exit on the Cumberland Parkway.

Special Features:Site preserves the oldest log meetinghouse in Kentucky, built in 1804during a period of religious revival. Many Revolutionary War soldiersand early pioneers, including Daniel Boone's sister, Hannah, are buriedin the churchyard. The structure has 12 corners in the shape of a crossand three doors, symbolic of the Holy Trinity.
