Location:6 miles north of Blakely off US 27.

Activities:Camping, boating (10 HP limit), fishing, swimming, hiking, astronomy programs (seasonal).
Special Features:Park is an important archeological site as well as a scenicrecreational area. Seven mounds within the park were built around250-950 AD by the Swift Creek and Weeden Island Indians. The moundsinclude Georgia's oldest great temple mound, two burial mounds, andfour ceremonial mounds. The park's museum is partially situated insidean excavated mound, providing an unusual setting for viewing artifacts.
