Kolik”egan

a river in Khanty-Mansi National Okrug, Tiumen’ Oblast, RSFSR. A right tributary of the Vakh (Ob’ basin). Length, 457 km; basin area, 12,200 sq km. The Kolik”egan originates in the Siberskie Uvaly and is very meandering in its lower course. The river is fed in different ways but primarily by snow; there is a long period of high water in spring and summer. It freezes in late October, thawing in May. The main tributaries, from the left, are the Lung”egan, Ai-Kolik”egan, and Ekkan” egan. There are many lakes in the Kolik”egan basin.
