Kokur White
Kokur White
a wine-grape variety. It is also known as the Long or White Long. The variety is grown in the Balkan Peninsula and in Iran; in the USSR it is found mainly in the Crimea and to a small extent in Rostov Oblast. The grape is medium or large (length 17–20 mm, breadth 15–16 mm), oval, and greenish-white and yellowing. The skin is thin, the flesh juicy and runny. The variety is late-maturing. It is used in wine-making; related varieties, Kokur Red and Kokur Black, are used for table grapes.
