 [o″po-sef´ah-lus] a malformed fetus with ears fused to the head, one orbit, no mouth, and no nose.

(ō″pō-sĕf′ă-lŭs) [Gr. ops, face, + kephale, head] A congenitally deformed fetus without nose or mouth, fused at the ears. There is either a single orbit or two orbits very close together.
