Special Features:The focus of this park is historic interpretation. The first permanentnon-native settlers in the Las Vegas Valley were a group of Mormonmissionaries who built an adobe fort along Las Vegas Creek in 1855. Today, the park includes a remnant of the original adobefort with interpretive displays as well as a full-scale visitor center.
