Special Features:Abundant wildlife is a prominent characteristic of mountainous Lost River. Scenic overlooks at "Cranny Crow" provide commanding views of the park and surrounding highlands of eastern West Virginia. Historically, the park is significant as having belonged to the famous Lee family of Virginia, who used it as a summer retreat in the early 1800s. A cabin from that era has been restored as a museum.
