Special Features:Park preserves a 36-mile stretch of the Old Erie Canal, designated a National Recreational Trail. The terrain is woodland and wetland, and several footbridges provide access to the canal towpath. Along the trail, visitors can see remnants of stone aqueducts, Chittenango Landing Canal Boat Museum, Erie Canal Village, and other historic sites.
