Molochnoe

an urban-type settlement in Vologda Oblast, RSFSR, under the jurisdiction of the Vologda city soviet. Located on the Vologda River in the Sukhona basin. Railroad station 16 km from the city of Vologda. Molochnoe has a teaching experimental dairy and the Vologda Dairy Institute. Also located in the settlement are the Northwestern Scientific Research Institute of the Dairy and Meadow-Pasture Economy and the Molochnoe-Pure-breeding Farm.
