释义 | Kluckhohn, ClydeKluckhohn, Clyde (Kay Maben)(1905–60) cultural anthropologist; born in LeMars, Iowa. After early training in the classics, he studied at Princeton, Wisconsin, Vienna, and Oxford before joining the Harvard faculty in 1935. His chief research interest was the culture of the Navajo Indians; his classic study, Navaho Witchcraft, appeared in 1944. A major contributor to culture theory, he set out his views on culture patterns and value systems in the popular work, Mirror for Man (1949). |
