Leningrad Peak

Leningrad Peak

 

a mountain peak in the Tadzhik SSR, at the eastern extremity of the Peter the First Range, at the junction with the Akademiia Nauk Range. Altitude, 6,733 m. Leningrad Peak is covered with perpetual snows and glaciers. It was discovered during the Tadzhik-Pamir expedition of 1932–33.
