 [o″pis-thor´kis] a genus of flukes parasitic in the liver and biliary tract of various birds and mammals, including humans; see opisthorchiasis. O. feli´neus is found from the Philippines, Japan, and Vietnam across Asia to Eastern Europe. O. viverri´ni is found in Southeast Asia.
