Lembolovo Upland

an upland in the central Karelian Isthmus, 50 km north of Leningrad. It is a plateau, with elevations up to 201 m, composed of moraine from the last Anthropogene glaciation; kames and terraces of glacial lakes are developed on the slopes. The upland is covered with mixed forests. In its central region, on the Leningrad-Priozersk highway, is the sculptural composition Lembolovo Stronghold, which commemorates the heroic defense of Leningrad.
