Kizyl-Atrek

an urban-type settlement, the administrative center of Kizyl-Atrek Raion, Krasnovodsk Oblast, Turkmen SSR. Located on the right bank of the Atrek River, 248 km southwest of the Kizyl-Arvat station on the Mary-Krasnovodsk railroad line. A highway links Kizyl-Atrek with Kizyl-Arvat station. The settlement has an experimental station for the cultivation of subtropical crops.
