Facilities:92 full-facility campsites for tents or RVs, group/youth campsites(primitive), picnic areas, pavilions, playground, food concession,canoe/kayak rentals, nature trails (8.5 miles).
Activities:Camping, boating (motor boats), canoeing, freshwater fishing, swimming,scuba diving and cave diving (for certified divers), snorkeling,hiking, bicycling, wildlife viewing, boat tours, guidedwalking tours.
Special Features:Manatee Springs is one of Florida's first-magnitude springs, producingmore than 100 million gallons of fresh water daily. In winter, manateesswim upriver to spend nights in the warm waters of the headspring.
