Location:65 miles northeast of Middlesboro. From I-75, take US 25E to US 119 to Cumberland.
Facilities:Picnic areas, 2 picnic shelters with vending machines and restrooms,pedal boat rentals, hiking trails (14 miles), 9-hole miniature golfcourse, playgrounds, 2 basketball courts, rental equipment forhorseshoes and volleyball, cave amphitheater, nature preserve, giftshop. Lodging is available at the Benham Schoolhouse Inn Bed andBreakfast in Benham, Ky, and a campground is available nearby in Lynch,KY. Primitive camping is permitted in designated areas of the park noton park trails.

Special Features:On the crest of Pine Mountain, at an elevation of 2,700 feet, KingdomCome is Kentucky's highest state park. A unique feature of the park isits extraordinary rock formations, including Log Rock, a naturalsandstone bridge, and Raven Rock, a gigantic slab of stone jutting some290 feet into the air at a 45-degree angle. The park is named for JohnFox, Jr's novel The Little Shepherd of Kingdom Come,a book about an orphaned youth and his journey through the hills andinto the furor of the Civil War.
