a Kazakh sociopolitical and literary magazine that appeared in Troitsk between January 1911 and August 1915; 88 issues were published.

It played a major role in the establishment of Kazakh prose, dramaturgy, literary criticism, and literary language. Censorship considerations led to the cessation of the magazine’s publication.
