Leeds and Liverpool Canal
Leeds and Liverpool Canal a navigable canal in Great Britain. It connects the city of Leeds with the Irish Sea at the city of Liverpool. The canal is 230 m long. It was built in 1770–1816. The Leeds and Liverpool Canal is connected with the North Sea by the Aire and Calder rivers and by the canal between Leeds and the Humber estuary. |
