Facilities:94 campsites (40 with electrical hookups, 42 non-electric, 12 hike-in)with modern restrooms, showers, and a playground in the campground (2electrical sites @di), 2 open picnic shelters (é), interpretive trail(é), hiking trails (13 miles).
Activities:Camping and hiking; canoeing and fishing in the Des Moines River, which flows through the west edge of the park.
Special Features:Park features sandstone cliffs ("ledges"), native plant communities,and a deep wooded river valley. Trails lead up and down steep slopes toscenic overlooks, and a winding road along Pea's Creek offers motoristsbreathtaking views of the "canyon" and the Des Moines River Valley.
