Location:In Presque Isle County, 6 miles north of Onaway on M-211.
Facilities:96 modern campsites, picnic area, pavilion, swimming beach, boat launch, playground, nature trail.
Activities:Camping, fishing, swimming, hiking, cross-country skiing.
Special Features:Park is located on the southeast shore of Black Lake, in an area oncefrequented by Chippewa Indians, and features sandcobblestone beaches, large unique rock out-croppings, and a diversevariety of trees. The park is known for its variety of gamefish,including the elusive lake sturgeon. Ocqueoc Falls, the largestwaterfall in Michigan's Lower Peninsula, is located just 10 miles eastof the park.
