Open-Loop Control System

 

an automatic control system in which (1) control actions are worked out according to a fixed program without using any information on the running state of the controlled object, that is, without monitoring actions, or (2) the main disturbances are measured and compensated for. In an open-loop control system, the only controlling inputs are external actions.
