Location:15 miles north of Las Cruces off I-25, Exit 19.
Facilities:31 developed campsites (some with electric hookups), restrooms (é),showers, picnic areas, group shelter, playground, hiking trails,visitor center (é), interpretive exhibits.
Activities:Camping, canoeing, kayaking, fishing, hiking, bird watching.
Special Features:Park is a desert oasis, featuring the Cactus Patch botanical gardens aswell as other cactus gardens. The Leasburg Diversion Dam, built in1908, channels water from the Rio Grande to irrigate the vast farmingarea of the Upper Mesilla Valley. Nearby Fort Selden Monument has amuseum and trails at the site of an 19th century army outpost.
