Nivshera

a river in the Komi ASSR, a left tributary of the Vishera River, in the Severnaia Dvina Basin. The river is 215 km long and drains an area of 4,250 sq km. The Nivshera originates in the Och’parma Highland, in the Timan Range. It is fed by various sources, predominantly by snow. The mean flow rate 25 km from the mouth is approximately 42 cu m per sec. The river freezes in early November and thaws in early May, and is navigable to the Nivshera landing, 55 km from the mouth.
