Khone

a waterfall on the Mekong River; one of the largest in the world. It is located on the border between Laos and Cambodia, where the Mekong enters the Cambodian plain. The Khone is a series of cascades of rapids and waterfalls, three of which fall 15–21 m (with a width of from 0.8–1.7 km). The average water flow is 10,000–12,000 m³/sec, with a maximum (in summer and autumn) of up to 30,000 m³/sec.
