Kholopii Gorodok
(also Staryi Kholopii gorodok), a trade center on the Mologa River, at the point where the Mologa is joined by the Udras River. Russia’s largest fair was held in Kholopii gorodok in the 15th century. Ivan III moved trade from Kholopii gorodok to the mouth of the Mologa. During the 16th century trade in Kholopii gorodok (subsequently the village of Borisogleb) fell into decline.
