Khibinite

(named after the Khibiny mountain massif), also chibinite, a magmatic alkali rock; a coarse-grained variety of nepheline syenite that contains eudialyte (a silicate of zirconium). Khibinite contains alkali feldspar, nepheline, aegirine, arfvedsonite, and other minerals. It forms large masses in areas where alkali rocks have developed, for example, the Khibiny tundras of the Kola Peninsula. It is used as a building material.
