Lombard voice-reflex test

A clinical maneuver used to determine whether a person is feigning–ie, 'faking' unilateral deafness, in which one side is exposed to masking noise; a person alleging hearing loss will ↑ intensity of his/her voice above the masking sound, whereas a person with true hearing loss will not ↑ voice intensity
