In the English system of measurement (used in Great Britain, the USA, and several other countries) 1 apothecaries’ pound (ap) = 373.242 grams; one ounce (ap oz) = 31.1035 grams; 1 drachma (ap drach) = 3.88793 grams; 1 scrupulum (scruple) = 1.29598 grams; 1 granum (gr) = 64.7989 milligrams.
