Omundson, Theodore

(1921–2009)A pioneering San Francisco Bay–area landscape architect, he was instrumental in establishing the Council of Landscape Architectural Registration Boards. His body of work included the Kaiser Center Roof Garden in Oakland, CA, with David Arbegast, and many residential projects, parks, playgrounds, college campuses, recreation areas, historic projects, and rooftop designs. He wrote Roof Gardens, History, Design and Construction (1999).
